About
Nithin Sridhar is the Director of INDICA Center for Moksha Studies dedicated to the dissemination of Indian philosophical and spiritual knowledge with a special focus on Advaita Vedanta. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering and has been writing extensively on social issues, religion, spirituality, philosophy, and ecology. He has authored seven books.His books include Musings On Hinduism, an overview of Hindu philosophy and society; Samanya Dharma, on the general tenets of ethics in Hindu texts; Isopanishad: An English Commentary, a translation and commentary on one of the prominent Upanishads; and Menstruation Across Cultures: A Historical Perspective, an examination of menstruation notions and practices across world cultures and religions. His most recent work, Chatuh Shloki Manusmriti: An English Commentary (2025), offers a philosophical analysis of the opening verses of Manusmriti, locating the text within the larger Hindu epistemological and theological worldview. Earlier, he served as the Editor of IndiaFacts, a portal on Indian history and culture. He is based in Mysuru, Karnataka.
